FAQs

How much will the legal fees cost?

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to our fees. Before we start working on your matter, you’ll receive a 'cost disclosure' document outlining the estimated costs and how they’ll be charged—whether as a fixed fee, an hourly rate, or a combination of both.

This document will also detail any 'disbursements' you might incur. Disbursements are expenses we pay on your behalf, such as ordering a site plan required for the sale of your property. These costs will be carefully tracked and included in your final invoice.

How long will my matter take?

No two legal matters are the same, so it’s difficult to provide an exact timeframe. While some issues may appear straightforward and could be resolved within a few weeks, delays caused by third parties can sometimes extend this timeline.

For example, drafting a simple document like a basic will might take only a few weeks. However, more complex matters, such as creating a testamentary trust, will require significantly more time. Rest assured, we’ll always work diligently to progress your matter as efficiently as possible and keep you informed.

What if I can’t make it into the office?

We understand that coming into the office isn’t always convenient, and we’re happy to offer alternative solutions to meet your needs. Options such as video conferences, mailing documents for signature, and more are available to make things easier for you.

If visiting the office isn’t possible, simply call us, and our friendly team will help you arrange a solution that works best.

Please note that certain signatures may need to be appropriately witnessed. Be sure to seek advice from your solicitor before signing any documents.
